As of December 14, 2006 more than $5.2 million has been raised
to help our Israeli family – during the conflict with Lebanon,
as they began to rebuild their lives and even today as they revitalize
the North. The work has never stopped and your support continues
to be crucial.
And while there is a truce in the North, hostilities continue along
the Gaza border, particularly in the town of Sderot. Kassam rockets
fall almost each day in that community, endangering the lives of
children as they go to school and families as they try to go about
their daily business. As a result, funds from the Israel Emergency
Campaign also are being used to help the residents of this community.
When Israelis are in need, the Federation will be there to help.
Your gift to the Israel Emergency Campaign makes that possible.
