(San Francisco, CA) - The Jewish Community Federation has opened an emergency mailbox to accept donations to help the victims and refugees of the conflict in Israel. If you would like to help, please go to www.sfjcf.org to donate online. You may also make checks payable to JCF, write "Israel Emergency Fund" in the memo section and send to:
Israel Emergency Fund
Jewish Community Federation
121 Steuart Street

The Federation is worried about all Israelis, and in particular the residents of our sister communities in the Upper Galil region, where it has had a 20-year partnership. What the future holds is not yet clear. But today, we can help those under fire by providing relief for these families, including transportation for short excursions away from the region, entertainment in the communal shelters and week-long summer camp stays in other parts of Israel.

For more information on the efforts of our Federation and the United Jewish Communities of North America to support the people of Israel in this difficult time, please go to www.ujc.org. For more information on the situation in Israel, please go to www.jcrc.org for a backgrounder prepared by the Jewish Community Relations Council. If you would like more information about how your donation will be used please visit www.sfjcf.org.
