A group of 20 teens will be selected based on their leadership aptitude, commitment to Jewish learning, interest in connecting to Israel, passion for serving their community, and ability to contribute to a diverse and well balanced group dynamic.

The next application deadline for the 2010-2011 cohort
(beginning September 2010 – September 2011) is April 30, 2010.
- Applications are accepted now until April 30, 2010 (applications are preferred early).
- Personal interviews will take place on a rolling basis in May for selected applicants.
- Final decisions will be announced early summer 2010.
Applicants to the program must:
- demonstrate leadership skills
- be dedicated to community service
- be interested in building cultural ties with Israelis
- commit to full participation in monthly Sunday workshops, four retreats, group projects, and the North American Seminar and Israel Summer Seminar
- be in 11th grade in September of 2010
- be a Jewish teen living, going to school or synagogue in San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin or Sonoma (the region covered by the San Francisco-based Jewish Community Federation)
