The Jewish Community Federation is pleased to call for nominations for its
2008 Awards of Excellence for Distinguished Service for:
The 17th annual Awards of Excellence salute the very best programs and people working to enhance Jewish life in our community. Your recommendations are very important and make this recognition possible.
Eligibility guidelines
The only requirement for nominating candidates is that they participate in the work of not-for-profit Jewish organizations, synagogues or agencies serving the Jewish communities of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties.
If you nominated someone previously and he or she was not chosen, you are welcome to submit that person or program again.
Nomination forms
Deadline
Nominations must be submitted no later than Friday, April 25, 2008.
A committee composed of diverse volunteers who have served on multiple boards and committees in the Jewish community will review all of the nominations and make the selections.
Awards ceremony
The Awards will be presented at the Federation’s Annual Meeting on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at the Jewish Community Center in San Francisco.
