Mifgash with Israelis

A highlight of the Diller teens program is the Mifgash (meeting) with the Manhigut Esreh (Teen Leadership) group from northern Israel. the two teams bonded during a shared retreat at the Marin Headlands institute, in which they spent Shabbat together, participated in various workshops in which they got to know each other better, discussed Jewish texts and identities, explored their similarities and differences, and formed life-long relationships. In the weekend following the retreat the Israeli teens were hosted by the Diller teens and got to experience the High Holidays in the US.
