Holocaust Day of Learning for Teens and Their Families

April 25, 2004, Jewish Community High School of the Bay

The Diller Teens organized the opening and closing ceremonies for this event. The opening ceremony was very moving and included a dramatic reading about different communities which were affected by the Holocaust which was accompanied by a slide show. The project group which prepared this ceremony wrote and preformed an original song which was performed at the closing ceremony. The rest of the teens helped lead the community art project which concluded the day. During the day itself the teens participated in different workshops relating to the Holocaust.
