About Carlyn McCaffrey Ms. McCaffrey is partner and co-head of the Trusts and Estates Department of the New York law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. She is considered to be one of the country’s leading authorities in the area of planning techniques for sophisticated estates. Ms. McCaffrey is an adjunct professor of law at New York University’s School of Law and immediate past president of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
