On Sunday, June 7, 2009, an estimated 20,000 people will gather at Israel in the Gardens for the hottest and freshest in Israeli music, film, food and to celebrate Jewish Culture, Israel’s 61st anniversary and the Tel Aviv centennial.

This year’s music headliner Ivri Lider the gifted songwriter, composer, producer is part of an exciting day awaiting you at the yerba Buena Gardens.

Teens, families, young adults and friends of all ages will love the displays, awesome contests and prizes, and vast offerings of ethnic food, culture and fun. Come early and stay late. Lounge in the grass. Learn about short and long term programs in Israel and meet personally with top local organizations.

Don’t miss the performance of the Israeli Scouts Friendship Caravan as well as the race for first place in our college campus competition “Jews Got Talent”. Check out the film festival that will be showing short films on Tel Aviv at the Contemporary Jewish Museum, as well as art projects at Jesse Square.

On June 7, be sure to treat yourself to an Israel experience like no other in the Bay.
