Calling all Artists!

Join us at Israel in the Gardens to show off your vision of the “Tel Aviv Jaffa Orange”

Under Construction

This year we are celebrating Tel-Aviv’s Centennial, and are introducing a project that we
think will be a wonderful way to connect our community to Tel-Aviv. Just like New York
is known as “The Big Apple”, Tel-Aviv is known as “The Big Orange”, and what they both
have in common is that they are known for their culture and non-stop night life.

The Project is for artists to create their vision of Tel-Aviv, using the “Tel- Aviv Jaffa
Orange” as a theme to be produced in any medium. Each artist is responsible for
delivering and setting up their work in the exhibit area. There is no fee to participate
but we would like for 50% of the sale price proceeds to go to a Federation project in
Israel (TBD). The maximum size of each piece may not exceed 4’X4’. The exhibition area
will be in the plaza in front of the Contemporary Jewish Museum. The artist’s name
will be displayed in front of the art piece. We reserve the right to remove work deemed
unacceptable or obviously different from work represented in application.

All art work needs to be set up by 9:30. Israel in the Gardens celebrations begins at
10:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m.
