What is a contingency monitor?To participate in the parade, Jews March for Pride - like all contingents - is required to have contingency monitors. Contingency monitors are volunteers provided by your organization that will walk with us along the parade route, acting as safety monitors. They must attend one monitor training before the day of the Parade. If you were a contingency monitor in a previous Pride parade, you will still need to attend a training session this year. Please note that The LGBT Alliance NEEDS YOUR HELP! If we do not have enough contingency monitors, we will not be allowed to march in the parade. Contact Jacob Goldstein, LGBT Alliance Summer Intern, to confirm your availability to volunteer as a contingency monitor.
