The Women’s Alliance offers women the opportunity to contribute financially to the well-being of the community through their participation in the Federation’s annual Campaign.

There are many reasons for a woman to make a campaign contribution in her own name:

• She expresses her own commitment while helping to build and revitalize the local Jewish community, developing and sustaining the Jewish homeland, and helping fellow Jews in need in more than 50 countries around the world.
• She offers fiscal evidence of the influence women exert as full partners and decision-makers in the family, the community, and the nation.
• She impacts Jewish political power. United States government leaders count the number of givers when they measure support for Israel and local communities.
• She is fulfilling the mitzvah of tzedakah. No one can do it for us. As women, we set an example of tzedakah for our families by what we do as individuals.
• By giving as individuals, women can stand up and truly be counted.

The Women’s Alliance sponsors a number of special Campaign events at a variety of giving levels:

• Power of One level — $365/year
• Pomegranate level — $1,800/year
• Lion of Judah level — $5,000/year

The Jewish community honors women who support the community at these significant contribution levels. The Women’s Alliance also participates in the Federation’s annual campaign through missions, phone-a-thons (including Super Sunday) and special programs.
