Blue Mondays & Happy Hours

Blue Mondays are one of the most popular events in the Bay Area for Jewish professionals to socialize, network and just relax with other young adults over a drink after work. Held at some of the hippest hangouts, YAD Blue Mondays attract sizable crowds.

Shabbat dinners

Latke Ball

Summer Sizzle

Summer Sizzle is YAD’s big picnic party. Last summer we barbequed at Flood Park in Menlo Park with nearly 350 people (from our Federation and the Young Adults Division of the Jewish Community Federation of Silcon Valley (SVYAD). Everyone enjoyed the sunshine, the barbecue and the company of hundreds of young, Jewish adults from the greater Bay Area. The more active folks played volleyball and other sports; the rest of us took advantage of the opportunity to laze around in the sun, schmooze with old friends and make a few new ones. “An Army of Mensches,” YAD’s Mitvzah Corps is a community service group that strives to make a difference in people's lives through acts of tikkun olam (healing the world).
