Tzedakah (justice, righteousness & charity)

YAD participants support the annual Campaign by giving individual donations — nearly half a million dollars last year. Young donors come together at a number of events throughout the year:

• Ben-Gurion Society
• Campaign education events
• Face-to-face solicitations
• The Spring Ring phonathon

Community building

YAD also reaches out to more than 2,000 unaffiliated young adults on a social level through a variety of community building events and programs:

• Blue Mondays Happy Hours
• Latke Ball
• Summer Sizzle
• Volunteer projects

Leadership development

We’re looking to identify and train the next generation of Federation, agency and synagogue leaders through a variety of both local and national programs:

• Club Fed
• National Young Leadership Conference
• National Young Leadership Cabinet
• National Young Leadership Website
