Our programs in Israel

Our work bridges the distance between the Bay Area Jewish community and Israel.

We focus on education for all ages and in all regions of Israel. Our vision is to:

• Close the economic gap and provide equal opportunity to succeed for all citizens of Israel.
• Strengthen the Jewish identity and commitment of Israelis.
• Ensure that Israelis and Jews around the world continue to share a common Jewish identity and set of values.
• Support vulnerable populations in Israel throughout the social and economic crisis.

The Israel Center & Israel travel

The Israel Center fosters a strong relationship between Bay Area Jews and their counterparts in Israel through cultural programs and opportunities to meet and exchange ideas. One example of such a program is the Gift of Israel, a partnership savings program for your child’s teen trip to Israel. Through Israel Center programs, and Israel Travel, Bay Area Jews can learn more about Israel here at home as well as choose from a variety of programs to explore the Jewish state via study, volunteering or work in Israel.
