Explore and grow in Israel. Student and teen years are a time for learning, and one of the best ways to learn is through exposure and immersion. We’ve gathered the following resources to help you find available academic travel scholarships.

  • Gift of Israel Program of the San Francisco-based Jewish Community Federation is a joint savings program made possible through contributions from synagogues, the Federation, and parents to ensure that teenagers can travel to Israel.
  • Haas Koshland Memorial Award of the San Francisco-based Jewish Community Federation offers a scholarship for a year of study and personal development in Israel.
  • Bureau of Jewish Education administers Israel experience scholarships for Jewish summer camps, First time experience in Israel for teens, and return study/service visit to Israel for college-age and young adults.
  • San Francisco State University students studying abroad have the opportunity to apply for additional scholarships, independent organizations and governmental aid. Each scholarship has unique requirements that may focus on financial need, academic excellence, non-traditional destinations and underrepresented groups.
  • Dorot Travel Grant Program helps build connections between students and the Land and State of Israel.
  • Jewish Family and Children’s Services provides scholarships, grants and loans to help offset the expenses of education, vocational training and loans for professional practice and business development.
  • World Zionist Organization provides links to funding resources throughout the United States and Israel.
