Commemorate your next birthday, bar mitzvah, new baby, anniversary or Jewish holiday, or memorialize a loved one, by supporting the life-changing work of the Jewish Community Federation. 

We’ll create a customized donation form for you that lets your guests give online to JCF in honor of your special occasion.  You can include a personalized introductory and thank-you message — and even a picture. All you have to do is link to your new form or print its address on your invitations!  

How to get started

• Email campaign@sfjcf.org.  In your email, please write on the subject line: “Commemorate a special event by supporting JCF.”
• Your email will need to include:
  • Name of event
  • Date of event
  • Personal statement for top of web form (about 50 words or one paragraph)
  • Personal message to be sent in reply to guest donations
  • Optional: A photo to be placed in the top bar of the page. Please attach a photo (600 pixels wide x 400 pixels tall, please). 
  • Optional: A picture can also be included on the “thank you” email reply for your guests’ donation. You may use the same picture for the top bar or send a second one for the email.
  • Optional: The address of your personal or event web page, if you would like this form to link back to it.
  • Any special instructions.

Please note that we reserve the right to edit text and photos to fit our template and conform to our web standards.

How long does it take to create a customized donation page?

The page will be completed within 7-10 business days.  Once done, you will receive a digital “proof” to approve before the page goes live. We will also give you the web address of the page, which you can then add onto your existing web page or include in your invitations.

How will I know who contributed and how can I thank them?

A personalized thank-you email will automatically be sent to everyone who contributes through your form. In addition, upon request, we will send you a report listing all of your contributors. (Please note that our donation forms offer the option of giving anonymously; therefore, not all names may be listed.)
