The most effective change often starts at a grassroots level—individuals like you, fulfilling a need in the community. Our Volunteer Placement Project helps you realize the immediate impact of giving by finding an opportunity that accommodates your skill set and matches your needs.

Both Jewish and non-Jewish organizations from Sonoma to Sunnyvale are in dire need of capable volunteers. The following is just a sample of what you can do:

• Help children learn to read
• Teach a class
• Serve meals to the elderly
• Staff a library
• Visit nursing homes
• Help seniors remain independent
• Prepare meals for the homeless
