Just as the Bay Area is one region with many microclimates, the
Jewish Community Federation is one community with many "micropopulations."
Each of our five service areas has a unique demographic and history.
Although distinct, we come together as one to support and sustain
quality Jewish life, at home and abroad.
In 2004 we conducted a comprehensive Jewish
Community Study, in which we set out to identify and understand
our entire local constituency. This study has allowed us to distinguish
the various needs of our diverse Jewish family and strategically
plan to ensure that everyone in our regions has a voice.
Together our regions share a vision of tikkun
olam. By thinking globally and acting locally, we are working
hard to find successful solutions for all. With your help, we support
agencies and programs that address the specific issues affecting
our neighborhoods as well as those devoted to helping Jews worldwide.
We have staff and volunteer leaders conveniently located at each of our regional offices dedicated to making sure you have a
place to feel connected in your community. They take your valuable
input and turn it into action.
Get to know your region and find out how you can make a meaningful
impact in your community.
